And according to the statistics, our nations’ rare earths minerals can be used for almost a thousand year, thus there is no need to limit export and the low price is just correspond with the market quotations.

From this point of view, if the government make control and raise the price of rare earths, then there will be a replacement in the market, which is unfavorable to the exportation. But it is impossible to replace the rare earths wholly for their important function in many fields, for example, to America, the high-temperature rare earth neodymium magnets  that used in weapon is exceptional and must be imported from China.

There it also someone thinks that rare earths are useless. They assimilate it with monosodium glutamate for the narrow using scope and small using amount. However, it is completely wrong. Some functions may be not able to achieve for some products, or the quality will be inferior without permanent magnets. And as is well-known, rare earths always are called Industrial Vitamin.
